Harris Black welcomed Michael Scott to our team back in March as a new manager and he has been settling into the new role very nicely. Michael is originally a native of Dalby QLD and moved up to Brisbane for the enjoyable company of those who live here. Without any preparation Michael could give a 40-minute presentation on cotton farming as he grew up on his parent’s cotton farm in Dalby.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys watching his favorite sport, Rugby League (Go Broncos!) and is no stranger to the odd game of table tennis. He refuses to watch any reality TV especially Married at First Sight. If money was no object Michael would opt-out of being an accountant and would live a life of being a grounds-keeper at a golf course, driving a 1967 Ford Mustang GT500.
His favorite meal is rib-eye steak cooked at medium-well served with gravy and a side of curly fries. When Michael decides to cook, his favourite three dishes are an entrée of grilled prawns, followed with a steak and finished with pavlova for dessert. If Michael was ever stranded on an island, he would take a volleyball named Wilson, a laptop and an Alvey fishing rod.
Fun fact: Michael is related through his cousin to the famous Australian cricket player Marnus Labuschagne!
